American Cheese 2024 Winner! Alpine cheese, also known as mountain cheese, refers to a style of cheese making rather than one variety. The name applies to Swiss, French, Austrian, or Italian cheeses made in the Alps with cows milk. Rosie’s Choice Young Alpine is a 4-5 month old Alpine style cheese using part skim cows milk. Sweet and very creamy in flavor.

A rich and creamy cheese infused with Italian truffles oil and black summer truffle conserve, adding a beautifully subtle yet earthy flavor. Slightly nutty taste, perfect balance by the milk sweetness. Thin bits of truffles are embedded in the cheese, giving the cheese a very fragrant flavor.
This cheese is an excellent melting cheese – it’s delicious over roasted meats, burger, omelets, pasta and adds dimension to mac & cheese and potatoes. It also makes a bold statement on a cheeseboard.
Pairing: light white wines and young sparkling wines (Muranda Chardonnay, Dry Riesling and Niagara)
Our Parmesan is an Alpine style Parmesan, in that it’s aged at least 12 months and a semi hard to hard cheese. Its nutty, creamy, and sharp taste stays with your palette longer. A cheese that is easy to grate on pasta, shave over a salad or cut a wedge to make an easy snack.
